Birthday Fun

Well, another birthday is in the books. I'm hopeful it's my last celebration at home and next year, I'll be one year closer to 30 in DC. My actual birthday night consisted of a glass of champagne at a local bar with Wendy (J's sister). Then we met up with two other friends and ate at the *amazing* Tibby's New Orleans Kitchen in my old stomping grounds of WP. We had some great bites to eat, awesomely strong drinks, and hilarious conversation. LOVES IT! Afterwards, Wendy & I headed to Blue Martini to cap the night. Boy, was that interesting. Apparently the new way to pick up girls is to compliment them on their shoes and ask where they got them? HUH? Seriously. Dude was hot and buff as all get out, but A.) He got the color wrong and B.) He was insisting that despite my bad memory, I had to have known where I got them. Really guy? I would have much preferred you walk right up and tell me how hot I looked and leave it at that.

Men.

Good friends, good food, good conversation.

I had been DYING for beignets!

On Sunday, my entire fam of aunts, uncle, cousins, etc. headed to my favorite Disney park, Hollywood Studios. So much fun!

Birthday cards and gift certificates!

We ordered the kitchen sink at the Disney Beach Club, which you can see here. It's outrageously out of control and includes tons of ice cream, all the toppings in the house, and a whole can of whipped cream!

    1. Thanks girl. A little disappointed with some of my friends, but the ones that were there are the ones that mattered. Mom and I don't speak and haven't spoken since before my trip to Mexico in January. I thought you knew that?
