As I was reading news articles and looking at YouTube, I came across this gorgeous video of the New Years Eve fireworks celebration in London. DREAM!
It got me to thinking about amazing places to ring in the new year. Places to add to my bucket list. Here's what I'm thinking...
New York City
Of course! I conquered the Christmas dream, now I have to conquer the NYE one too. I know it translates to standing on the street for 10+ hours and holding your pee and dealing with millions of people...but it's got to be an incredible experience.
Rio de Janeiro
I've been to Rio once before, but not for Carnviale and not for NYE. The city is beautiful. The people are lovely. The food is to die for.
Sydney
How amazing would it be to ring in the new year next to the Sydney Opera House? Word is they have one of the best fireworks displays around.
