Happy Halloween!!!

Yesterday my mom and I went to my home "town," Winter Park, and strolled along the Avenue for the Dog Halloween Festival. It was a crazy turnout with over 200 dogs entered into the costume contest. There were some amazing costumes and though my hands were full and it was somewhat chaotic, I snapped a few pics :)

Cabo San Lucas - Part Two

Cabo San Lucas - Part One!

Don't Break My Stride

After coming home from Cabo San Lucas (well, I'm in Dallas now so ALMOST home), I am exhausted, but refreshed and ready to go. I do not want ANYONE bringing me down. I don't want drama, I don't want noise, I don't want anything clouding my vision.

This song popped in my head as I was stating those things to myself after hanging up with Romeo. This video is actually quite funny, I mean he isn't lip synching or anything...

On the way back, I'll be in Dallas for a night and HOPING I will be within good distance of fun stuff to do. Dallas is the one place in Texas I always wanted to go, but never got a chance to when I lived there.

I got news a couple days ago I would be heading out of the country ((TODAY)) for a super fun photo shoot for a resort. Romeo was invited to go as well, but his passport is expired which is super tragic to me. I'm stoked to go, but honestly devastated he can't enjoy this time with me. The good news is, we get a complimentary return trip for the same number of days I'll be shooting, which should be six. It's at an all inclusive so we'll just have to pay for airfare and add it to our calendar of must do's :) The resort is STUNNINGLY gorgeous and I'm excited to check it out. A working vacation of sorts.

Now, I'm going to give you guys a few clues over the next few days and see if you can figure out where I am. Here's round one...

I've been to this country before.

The population of the city I will be in is around 68,000.

Daddy Daughter Date Night

Chick-Fil-A is an incredible organization. If you disagree due to political reasons, save your commentary for yourself. I love that a Christian company is fearless in it's mission and open about it's values. I love even more that they are so successful.

When I was back in Charlotte, I saw they were having a Mommy Son Date Night at local restaurants and was hoping they'd have a Daddy Daughter as well. Naturally, they did, so I signed my dad and I up when I got back to Orlando. I could care less if I was quadruple the age of any of the other daughters, last I knew there were no age limits to enjoying some special time with your father.


Everything about it was perfection. They had a chocolate fountain with strawberries, rose petals and a red carpet entrance, normal employees acting as waiters/hostesses, etc., long stemmed roses for each daughter, a violinist, a booklet of questions to ask one another, and so much more. It was absolutely precious and I can only pray my future husband takes the time to treat my daughter the same way.

Pumpkin Patch Fun

Every year, one of the things I look forward to the most is carving a pumpkin. It's been a few years, so I was so excited to be able to do it once again. Since Orlando doesn't have incredible farms like North Carolina does, we settled for a cute Church pumpkin patch up the road. Look at all the pumpkins!!!
