Bad Mommy Syndrome

You can't go anywhere recently without hearing about bad moms (and dads) doing horrible things to their children. I was STUNNED a few weeks ago when I came across this story. Take a look for yourself...

I mean, are you serious? First of all, how does this 8 year old even know what wrinkles are? Second, this mom COACHED her daughter to lie about her appearance. SICK. Third, the mom "allegedly" did all of this for $200? That's disgustingly wrong in so many ways. BUT...some are saying she DID actually inject her daughter which the Botox. Are you kidding me? Any way you look at this, it's a bad case of "Bad Mommy Syndrome." How on earth could a mother have her child lie about something like this OR actually DO THIS to her child?

I'm sure you know where I'm going next...
Casey Anthony. GROSS!

This case has brought my hometown of Orlando into a massive spotlight. I was still living there when all of this exploded. My family is in law enforcement so this has affected them greatly. Unless you've been living under a rock, you've heard about this story.

Obviously, this woman (though I'd like to call her a BEAST) is innocent until proven guilty, but words can't even begin to express how I feel about this case. So, so sad. To me, Miss Casey was a party girl who made the "mistake" of getting pregnant. She wanted to continue her youthful, partying ways and there was a growing rift between her and her mother. I have my theories which I really don't want to get into, but regardless...Casey has a massively horrific case of "Bad Mommy Syndrome." She neglected Caylee. She either deliberately killed Caylee or her neglectful actions and abuse caused Caylee to die.

This precious little child...
...thrown away like trash and left to rot. DISGUSTING.

Then of course there are the age old stories of moms drowning their kids in bath tubs, shaking them until they stop crying, and driving their cars into lakes. What on EARTH is going on? As someone who struggles with infertility and who has lost a child, things like this make my skin crawl. Having a child is a BLESSING, a gift, and so many take it for granted. Sure, are there days it's exhausting and for a second you might think how much easier it was BEFORE kids? Probably, but I still just can't fathom how some of these parents do such horrid things to their children.

May justice be served.

  2. I've been seeing a lot of stuff like that lately. A guy from somewhere near my hometown tried to smother his infant while in the hospital. And some guy from PA dropped cinder blocks on his infant because he couldn't afford another child.

Where do these people come from?!

  3. I'm sure many people will disagree with me, but I feel that Casey Anthony's mother shares a bit of the blame for what happened to Caylee. The stories I've seen on tv have all said that Casey's mother MADE her keep the baby that she wanted to give up for adoption. Her mother was trying to make her own her (Casey's) "mistake," but forcing your OBVIOUSLY immature daughter to keep a child that she does not want seems like it could never end well.

  4. I am on the Casey Anthony case like glue every morning. I need to see justice for Caylee. I seriously believe there was some severe neglect on Casey's end, and as a result it ended her daughter's life. And now she is trying to cover it up.

As for "botox mom"... WOW. Just wow. There needs to be some repercussions even if she lied about it and was "acting". YOU JUST DON'T DO THAT!

  5. There's been a lot of stuff on the news in Vancouver BC too about children falling out of windows and either dying or getting seriously hurt....and this one family who now has a SECOND child die in their care.....it makes me sick.
