Yay! It's time for an awesome holiday giveaway...or two.
Two lucky winners who follow my blog will receive a $25 gift card to Restaurant.com. If you've never used this swanky site, you're missing out! Punch in your zip code and pages and pages of fantastic places to eat will pop up. You can then purchase gift certificates in various denominations for a FRACTION of the price. Even better is when you receive coupon codes that makes $25 gift certificates $3 each! The only catch is there are usually minimum purchases and certain times you can use them (ie. lunch, dinner, weekdays, etc.). But, none the less the prices and places are amazing! I used these when M and I traveled to Vegas and it came in SO HANDY! We hardly spent any money to eat and it helped us stay on budget.
This gift card will give you a code to punch in and then allow you $25 in value towards certificates of your choice. Don't forget to use a coupon code to stretch the value!
To win, here's what you need to do:
1. Be a follower of my blog! If you're not, click the follow button on the right hand side.
2. Leave me a comment here letting me know your favorite holiday tradition and why.
3. Earn an extra entry if you tweet:
I just entered the holiday giveaway at eatpraylovelive.com! #eatpraygiveaway
I'll choose the winners on Monday, December 20th. Be sure to leave your email address or check back to see if you've won one of the gift certificates!

My favorite traditions have changed over the years, but now with all five of my brothers moved out (some across country) I just enjoy any time we can get together. Whether its a few holiday texts back and forth, phone calls, or video chatting with them for a few hours I try to enjoy any and all time we have together. It helps remind me that time is precious and to appreciate any time with them even more :)
ReplyDeleteMy favorite tradition is to get to open new pajamas on Christmas eve and read the story of Jesus birth before bed.
ReplyDeleteOur favorite Christmas tradition is getting out on Christmas Eve and riding around town looking at all the lights and decorations.

We don't really have a lot of holiday traditions, but I guess my favorite would be going to my grandparents house on Christmas Eve. It's always been that way, and I'm still in shock that it's this Saturday and not Christmas Eve this year. We are still going to their house on Christmas Eve though.
