I haven't spent much of the holiday season this year blogging about the holidays. So, since it's right around the corner, here ya go :)
Favorite Holiday Memory
WOW. It's kinda hard to pick just one. My family does Christmas HUGE. I haven't ever met someone who says theirs is as such a big deal. Our family ends up getting together in the AM, having brunch, opening presents and staying until late in the night playing games. I don't think there has ever been a year we don't do this. It will be my first year not being present. I am 100% fine with this, though I know my family doesn't quite understand. In truth, M & I were never planning on going home for the holidays this year. We had planned on taking a vacay to NYC or just staying in TX. Anyway, one of the things we liked to do as a family was go and look at the massive Christmas light displays. In Orlando, there is a house near my grandmother where they literally have a backyard scene you walk through. We went there almost every year. Pretty neat. I think I might take Piper out tomorrow night to take a peek and jam out to some Christmas music.
Favorite Christmas Cookie
Snickerdoodle. Hands down!
Favorite Christmas Tradition
Every Christmas Eve, we go to our old neighbors house in Winter Park for a party like you've never seen. It's AWESOME. These people are so fun and full of life. We sit around, drink, eat, play games, and get crazy. It's THE BEST. I don't think I've EVER missed one yet. Kinda bummed I won't be there this year. Been going strong for 21 years!
Favorite Christmas Songs
Favorite Christmas Gift
I really loved getting my Jane Wayne Army Wife bag and wallet last year. Kinda sucks I have no use for that anymore. Hmm...perhaps a heart diamond necklace my dad bought me years ago. I don't even think I have it anymore :(
Favorite Christmas Movie
Charlie Brown Christmas. Nothing makes me happier.
Christmas Wish
For 2011 to be the most amazing year yet. I hope God surrounds me with people who lift me up, challenge me, and make me a better person. I would love to someday experience REAL love and happiness again too. Perhaps that won't happen in 2011, but I'm hopeful.

I hope you have a wonderful holiday. Love ya chic :)
